A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in Gwagwalada in Abuja, on Thursday, granted a 50 million naira bail to Justice Mohammed Adoke, a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.
Justice Abubakar Kutigi, in his ruling, upheld Adoke’s bail and ordered him to produce a surety in like sum.
Others who were granted bail alongside the former minister included Aliyu Abubakar and Rasky Gbinigie.
While Adoke was slammed with a 50 million naira bail condition, Aliyu and Gbinigie got N10 million naira bail conditions each, with sureties who must be responsible and have affidavits of means.
Justice Kutigi added that the sureties must be Abuja residents and own verifiable landed properties in the jurisdiction.
