President Muhammadu Buhari over the weekend condoled with the family of the late politician and a writer, Dr Arthur Agwuncha Nwankwo.
The former Vice Chairman of National Democratic Coalition died on Saturday at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu.
He was aged 78.
Buhari while condoling with the family, said the labour and sacrifices of the nationalist will always be remembered by posterity.
He commiserated with the family, friends, and political associates of the late political activist, asking them to solace in God over the loss.
According to Buhari, Nwankwo’s investments in humanity will endure, especially standing for democracy and development at great risks, and working hard to ensure that the pivotal institutions are strengthened and sustained.
