Hell broke lose in the early hours of Wednesday, when bike riders engaged policemen in a fight along Iyana-Ipaja road.
The fight was as a result of anger towards the recent ban by the government over the use of bikes (okada) and tricycles (Keke) in some areas of the state.
The fight was said to have started around 8am in the morning, which led to commotion and destruction of properties.
Miscreants also sized this opportunity to loot shops and vandalize properties.
According to an eye witness, the trouble started when the police went into a bike dealer's shop where bike and okada were being sold to impound them.
The dealers, who felt they haven't done anything wrong, resisted the policemen from removing the items and this led to the choas.
The situation was later brought under control at about 11 am when police officers in their numbers restored law and order to the area.
