Popular hip-hop musician, Eedris Abdulkareem, is presently cooling off at the Area F Police Command, Ikeja, Lagos.
The music star was arrested by officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for allegedly beating his landlord, Oladipo Abimbola.
The music star was said to have voluntarily reported at the station before he was subsequently arrested and detained.
Checks confirmed that Abimbola, who owns the property at Valley View Estate in Ikeja area, accused the controversial rapper of intimidation, harassment and fraud.
The disconnection of the singer from power source due to overdue and unpaid accumulated electricity bills, amounting to N535,000, resulted in the altercation between the landlord and rap star.
The artist was said to have invaded Abimbola’s compound to question him over his excesses.
The argument led to a free for all fight before the landlord headed to the police station to lodge a complaint about the assault.
As at the time of filing this report, Abdulkareem was yet to be released.
