The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, received a joint delegation of the Jack-Rich Special Support Initiative, Belema Oil J.V and Belema Aid and Foundation, which was led by the wife of the groups’ founder, Mrs Elizabeth Jack Rich.
While welcoming them, the Ooni of Ife laid emphasis on the necessity in offering assistance to the poor and other vulnerable members of the Nigerian community.
The Ooni lauded Jack Rich’s family for helping countless less-privileged individuals through the Belemaoil and Belema Aid and Foundation.
He went on to describe the founder, Tein TS Jack Rich, as a humble detribalised Nigerian philanthropist. He added that the Jack-Rich foundations have executed many projects in Nigeria and the diaspora, in an effort to make the world a better place.
The monarch urged everyone to emulate their kind gesture. During the meeting, Jack Rich’s family announced their plans to introduce some empowerment initiatives in the South-west region, which will improve the development and growth of human capital.
Mrs Elizabeth Jack Rich commended the Ooni of Ife. she said that the traditional ruler had tried to inculcate his selfless, humble and enviable qualities in the hearts of Yoruba descendants by pushing them to show genuine concern for humanity irrespective of the tribe.
