Buhari Celebrates Adeboye At 78

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, sent congratulatory messages to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, as he turned 78.

The president delightly noted the extensive contributions of Baba Adeboye to the growth of the country.

The President made the statement through his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja, saluting the cleric’s dedication to God, welfare of the church and consistency in preaching and living the gospel for many years.

Buhari commended his positive influence on the country as well as the citizens. He added that his wide network had hugely impacted on education, infrastructure, and health.

The President hailed Adeboye for his immense contributions to the growth of the country through his unbiased effort in telling leaders the truth, regular mobilization of members of his church to civic responsibilities and relentless courage in taking the gospel to every part of Nigeria, while vigorously pursuing the divine vision of creating an enabling environment for worship and living the teachings of the Bible.

According to him, Pastor Adeboye has underscoring warmth, kindness and commitment to seeing the good in others.

President Buhari, therefore, prayed that the almighty God would grant Pastor Adeboye longer life, good health, and more wisdom to continue sharing the love of Christ.
