Coronavirus Screening Carried Out For Ministers At FEC Meeting

The Presidency stepped up its Coronavirus screening of visitors to the Statehouse on Wednesday to include ministers who attended the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The minsters were screened before the meeting commenced. It was observed that their body temperature was checked as they arrived at the Statehouse. They were also given sanitisers to disinfect their hands.

The ministers were screened twice. The first screening took place as they alighted from their cars and entered the main reception to Villa.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Sabo Nanono, was first seen to be screened followed by the Minister of State for Education, Mr Emeka Nwajuba.

Other ministers were also screened as they arrived one after another.

At the entrance to the Executive Council Chambers, another screening took place before they finally entered the venue for the meeting.

Permanent secretaries and other officials from Ministries, Departments and Agencies, who came for the meeting, were also screened by health workers under the watch of the Department of State Services (DSS).
