Buhari Set to Hit Lagos on Saturday for Presidential Campaign
As part of the ongoing presidential campaign, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to visit Lagos on Saturday, February 9, for the campaign of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
The visit will make it possible for the president to speak with his supporters, especially Lagos residents, about his plans and programme if he wins at the presidential poll.
The campaign, which is scheduled to hold at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, will parade top APC leaders and governors across the South West region.
In readiness for Buhari’s visit, Lagos State Government has urged Lagos residents to take alternative routes so that road users, who will not be on the campaign ground, do not get held up on routes leading to the venue.
The president and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday, were in Ekiti State enroute Akure, the Ondo State capital, to seek re-election to their offices as APC candidates.
Buhari and Osinbajo were given a historic welcome by all South West APC leaders, including the national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
