Why I missed Lagos project commissioning -Tinubu.
The National Leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has cleared the air following the rumour in all quarters that he deliberately shunned the Lagos project commissioning, headlined by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.
The rumour mongers even confirmed that Tinubu’s deliberate absence at the event was as a result of Buhari shunning his colloquium organized last month in Abuja to mark his 67th birthday.
Tunde Rahaman, the Special Adviser on Media, while reacting to the story, noted that his boss missed the event because he was out of the country.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was not in town.
“As I’m speaking with you, he is currently out of the country.
“That was why he was not present at the occasion,” he said.
Buhari, before leaving for the United Kingdom for a 10-day private visit, was earlier in Lagos where he inaugurated developmental projects and commissioned a number of projects executed by the state government.
