Tribunal: The court is set to deliver judgment on Atiku’s suit against Buhari on September 13.
The Tribunal on Monday fixed September 13, 2019, to give judgement on the petition brought against President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress by Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The court sitting in Abuja has spent time listening to the arguments of all parties involved in the election.
Justice Muhammed Garba, who led a seven-member panel last week, has reserved a date to deliver judgment in the petition after the adoption of final written addresses.
The Electoral Act provides that an election petition should be filed, heard and determined within 180 days.
The ruling party, INEC and the president are the respondents.
