Igbo Leaders Set To Hold Retreat In Abakaliki Over 2023 Presidency

Ebonyi State is set to host Igbo leaders and stakeholders across the country on November 22 and 23 over the 2023 presidency.

Tagged “Igboezue Leadership Retreat”, according to the Retreat Planning Sub-Committee on Media and Publicity, Collins Steve Ugwu, the retreat will be attended by several critical stakeholders of the entire Igbo collectives.

Also, all the legislators and governors of Igbo origin are expected at the retreat. According to the organizing committee chairman, Chief Igariwey, the retreat will be an all-inclusive meeting, as individuals of different parties or groups will shelve their wings and come to think together as Igbo sons and daughters.

The Chairman of the South-East Governors Forum, Engr Dave Umahi, will host the visitors while the chairman of the main event, Chief Gari Enwoh Igariwey, who was the former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, will hold a world press conference on November 4. The press conference will hold at the planning secretariat, Abakaliki, where Igariwey will address issues on the importance of the retreat to the Igbo region.

Also, some South-South delegates are expected to be present at the event, as the Igbo origin is spread to Delta and Rivers States.
