Engr. Musa Wada, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Sunday, rejected the results of the election announced so far. He described the results as fictitious and daylight robbery on the party.
Wada has faulted 112,000 votes announced in the Okene Local Government Area of the state and other areas in favour of Bello.
The party, in a statement, has called the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel the Okene results, saying the party would not accept the results, as series of irregularities were discovered in the local council area.
The PDP spokesman, Kola Ologbodiyan, in his statement, noted that evidence of alterations of figures to reduce the votes of the PDP and allocate imported figures to the APC were confirmed.
“The only way out is for INEC to cancel and drop the fictitious figures being bandied and declare only the results from votes cast and declared at the respective polling units,” Ologbodiyan said.
