A Kano State High Court, on Thursday, sacked four emirs appointed by the Kano State Governor, Mallam Abdullahi Ganduje.

Justice Usman Na’Abba of the state high court delivered the judgement earlier today in Kano.

Recall that after a row between Governor Ganduje and the Emir of Kano, Mallam Mohammed Sanusi 11, the governor created four additional Emirates in Kano in a bid to conquer the influence of Sanusi, claiming that the move was for administrative convenience.

To, however, correct the misconduct of the governor, Emir Sanusi later challenged the action in court before today’s ruling which favoured the former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
