Mohammed Bello Adoke, former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice of Nigeria, was on Thursday nabbed by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The former minister was arrested shortly after landing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Thursday afternoon.
The Interpol had repatriated the embattled legal luminary and handed him over to the anti-graft agency after spending five weeks in detention in the United Arab Emirates.
He is presently in the office of the commission where he is being interrogated.
Adoke is facing trial bordering on money laundering , fraud and misconduct during his tenure as Attorney General of the federation.
