Ifeanyi Olumba, the Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, on Monday, resigned his position.
The politician in his resignation to the national party said he refused to be part of the political alliance between his party, and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I refused to be part of an alliance that is associated with Rochas Okorocha.
“Therefore, as the Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Grand Alliance here in Imo State, I resign my position.”
His resignation came barely a week after Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, the leader of APGA in the state, visited Okorocha his Imo residence during the festive period.
The move has further fueled speculations that the APGA and the APC may want to form an alliance against the Peoples Democratic Party-led government in the state.
