Monarch Lauds Governor Ugwuanyi

The traditional ruler of Nkporogw Ukehe Autonomous Community in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu state, Chief Nickolas Ojike, has tagged the governor Ugwuanyi as God sent to the people of Enugu.

The monarch called on the people of Enugu metropolis to rally round the governor so as to deliver more democratic dividends.

The traditional ruler who made the call while speaking with the media in Enugu on Monday, said that Governor Ugwuanyi had performed creditably well in all sectors, as well as achieved a great deal in the areas of road rehabilitation and construction, education, health, and the judiciary.

Ojike said, “Workers and pensioners are paid regularly before the 25th of every month. Women and youths are receiving skills acquisition training and they are equipped to become employers of labour."

He lauded the establishment of the ‘Forest Guards’ which he attributed to the governor's commitment to the security of lives and properties of the people.

The monarch applauded the governor for strengthening the neighbourhood watch and vigilance groups, equipping the security agencies with patrol vans and security gadgets to ensure that the state is safe for residents and investors.
