Sanwo-Olu Reshuffles  Cabinet

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, reshuffled his cabinet for optimum performance, and to enhance more growth and development in his government.

As part of the re-arrangement, one of the commissioners, Shuli Adebolu, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, was replaced, and three new members cleared by the State House of Assembly were announced.

The three new commissioners have been assigned with portfolios. They are Mr Tayo Bamgbose-Martins, Commissioner-designate, Special Duties; Mr Oyerinde Olanrewaju, Special Adviser-designate, Central Business District; and Mr Ayuba Adele, Special Adviser-designate, Urban Development.

Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf was redeployed from the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

While two specials advisers, Kabiru Ahmed and Anofiu Elegushi, were attached to the Ministries of Waterfront Structures and Home Affairs respectively.

The governor in his statement, said the redeployment and appointments are to create new energy for the continued delivery of values to the state.

He thanked members to the Lagos State House of Assembly for their support in carrying out the exercise in a manner devoid of mere political considerations other than the interests of the electorate.
