“Assess Me After  One Year In office,” Uzodinma Declares

Senator Hope Uzodinma, the newly sworn-in Imo State Governor, on Wednesday, implored with the indigenes of the state to be patient with his administration.

He, however, boasted that they should wait and assess his performance after one year in office.

He also disclosed his plans to conduct a local government elections in relation with local government laws.

The governor made the statement while receiving the leadership of the Organised Labor at the Government House, Owerri, the state capital.

“It is not about political party or where you come from, it's all about having the capacity to deliver.

“If in the next one year, the narratives have not changed, people can now talk.

“ But you must give me a chance.

“I know I will not fail,” he said.

Uzodinma sealed a partnership with the Organised Labour, assuring them of his commitment to serve the people with utmost sincerity. He assured them that his policies will meet the yearnings and aspirations of the Imo people.
