Kaycee Osamwonyi, an aide to Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has been suspended from the state chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to informed sources, he was suspended over his involvement in the acts of thuggery, hooliganism and causing factions within the party.

Other reasons adduced for the suspension of Osamwonyi included engaging in activities that have brought the APC to ridicule, opprobrium in Ward 06, promoting subversion and breach of the constitution of the APC.

The suspension was as a result of the report of the disciplinary committee set up to look into the allegations against the politician.
