Fresh facts reaching us reveal that some state governors on the platform of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, have joined other party stalwarts to ensure that the embattled national chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, does not remain on the seat before the primaries for the 2023 general elections.
Although his offence was not ascertained as at the time of filing this report, Oshiomhole claimed that the people behind his ordeal are after the 2023 presidency.
“They are the ones who will plot how do we get rid of him because they want to be president in 2023 even when their hold on their state at the moment is doubtful if they were to go for referendum in terms of their approval rating.
“But you see, whatever you do, those who want to fight you will fight you. But I know that my tenure will be defined by God, not by man,” Oshiomhole said.
One of the APC governors who spoke on the condition of anonymity said Oshiomhole has lost the command of the party, saying only a few governors are behind him while a majority of the state governors are in support of his removal.
