APC Crisis: More Governors Plot Against Oshiomhole

After last week’s suspension of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, some governors on the platform of the party have visited President Muhammadu Buhari in a bid to remove the embattled chairman from office.

Recall, crisis loomed over the party last week after a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court barred Oshiomhole from acting as the national chairman following an application by some party members that the chairman had been suspended by his ward in Etsako, Edo State.

While the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, and a few others have visited the president, lobbying to get the chairman out of office, Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Babagana Zulum (Borno), Aminu Bello Masari, (Katsina), Hope Uzodinma (Imo), Adegboyega Oyetola (Osun); Dapo Abiodun(Ogun); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos) and others are rallying around the embattled national chairman.
