A group under the aegis of the All Nigerian Youth Project on Friday, kicked off campaigns for 2023 Presidential election for the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.

The campaign tagged: “Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Project 2023, All Nigerian youth project,” received 12 exotics vehicles, which according to reports had been donated by some prominent Nigerians.

The group had been actively campaigning on social media with the organizers while vowing to drag the deposed emir to court should he turn down their call to contest for presidency.

The coordinator, Dr Suleiman Shinkaffi said: “We’re all Nigerian youth project agitating for Sanusi. With the situation in the country now only credible and stainless candidate, that is acceptable to all that’s needed. And we believe that Sanusi is acceptable to all and intellectually sound to turn things around for better for this country. Nigeria is a sinking sheep and need someone of high intellectial ability like him to rescue the country. Baba Buhari has done his best.”

Shinkafi further reiterated that Sanusi was in good position to salvage the nation from its current challenges ranging from Boko Haram insurgency, banditry, kidnappings, herdsmen/farmers crises, killings among other criminality.

The group therefore, pledged their support for Sanusi which they promised would be the same support given to Buhari in 2015, by contributing money to sponsor his campaign, buy his nomination form, recharge cards, and provide logistics among other things.

He concluded that over one hundred thousand people have reportedly indicated interest for Sanusi, while over 100 million supporters have been targeted for the 2023 project.
