The mind game; Stealing is not an easy breezy piece of cake that you basically pull off with one eye closed – it’s art! Deep, calculative and thorough, requiring a great deal of human understanding, predictability and manipulation. And to succeed, you must play by one rule and one rule only – No distraction –FOCUS; Engage target’s mind with your eyes and steal with your hand.

After much backlash following an unusual dip in his career, many thanks to his starring in big time box office flop – “After Earth” which was branded a “complete disaster”, landing him ever so  graciously with the “Worst Actor” title, Will Smith bounces back. In “Focus” The Men in Black star proves once again that he’s not just the charming ‘Prince of Bel Air’ who effortlessly works his magic on women, but he can also be a sleek manipulator ready to play plenty of mind games and get right down to business as long as those wads of dollars do major landing in his pocket.

“Focus” is a romantic comedy which delightfully steals hearts in every scene; with its simple plot, contagious humor, refreshing unpredictability and effortless charm, this rom com leaves up to its name entrancing its audience till the very last minute.

Distraction plus focus equal every iconic con man’s unfailing tool and this skill, ace con man Nicky (Will Smith) knows like the back of his hand; he’s been in the game for a long time and explains the thievery phenomenon thus – “The human brain is slow and it cannot multitask… You’ve got to get inside the dick’s head, perceive from their perspective – human behavior is very predictable; if I look at my hand, it naturally pulls your gaze and allows me enter your space, but when I look up at you, it causes you to look directly at me”, so yeah it’s crime lesson 101 but with a sweet charm to it.

It all boils down to one question – “Will the overly confident guru let his heart get between his job when stunner Jess Barrett (Margot Robbie) boldly decides to learn the art of trade under his wing?” Will his whole world become one fiery explosion? – “Focus” takes us on one hell of a roller coaster ride and its many twists and turns pay off completely in the end.

Suspense and curiosity will lock audience in; from the gambling scene featuring Chinese compulsive gambler – Liyuan (B.D.
