President Barack Obama spoke pointedly and unequivocally about the Ferguson police department, condemning them for disproportionately targeting people of color in their attempts to pad city revenue.
On a more lighthearted note, he clarified that he does not, in fact, have Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian-West’s home phone number. He did say that he had met West twice, once when he was a Senator from Illinois–at the time he found Kanye “very soft-spoken”–and once at a more recent function. “Look, I love his music, he’s incredibly creative,” Obama said. “But I don’t think I have his home number.”
