Azealia Banks regrets President Obama comments

Kenny Awotorebo

Azealia Banks’ recent interview with Billboard was filled with a number of interesting quotes, one of which happened to be a statement about her wanting to smash the current president, Barack Obama. After some time to consider her statements following the buzz made over the sound bite, the Harlem rapper now regrets the comment.

As previously reported, Banks was quoted as saying she wanted to jump POTUS’ bones, “He’s so fine. Those big-ass white teeth and ears hanging off his head? I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I want to f– the President,” she stated.

Now she is saying her words about Obama were just a little jokie joke. “Omg I was totally just joking and being silly in billboard about the prez I wasn’t actually being forreal,” she typed on Twitter. “No the part about the prez was not supposed to be in there I really wish I could take it back omg I was only joking,” she added.

She later continued, “I always try and keep it cute then something clicks in my brain and just makes me say crazy things #Geministruggle.” The MC also pointed out that that was one ill-advised statement out of an insightful interview as a whole. “Sex is like one of the LEAST important things I talk about,” she posted.
