Kim Kardashian recently appeared on a pre-taped interview for the “Today Show” where she admitted to having some fertility issues.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star revealed that she and husband Kanye West have been trying for another baby for several months now but to no avail.
As such, the 34-year-old decided to consult with fertility doctors to find out what else she could do to give her daughter North West a younger sibling.
“They say if you’ve been trying to have a baby for a year, then you usually need a little bit of help. I had a tough delivery, so I understand what my challenges are. I mean, I’m seeing the best doctors and I’m trying to do everything that I can to make that happen,” she said.
The social media maven was also asked whether or not they are considering other options for expanding their family, according to US Weekly.
Kardashian replied and said that although surrogacy was previously recommended to her, she and West still want to try to get pregnant for now.
“They have recommended to me to get a surrogate, and I would like to hold out a little bit longer, and still try. I still have hope, so I’m just going to keep on trying. Never say never. I mean, we haven’t talked about adopting,” she said.
The reality TV star also admitted that if she will not be blessed with another child, she would be more than content with her adorable daughter North.
“I think you get kind of over it to the point where, I’m so blessed that I have one, and I don’t want to take my focus off of her so much,” she said.
