Sexy reality star Kim Kardashian might consider herself pretty close to Anna Wintour (editor-in-chief of American Vogue), so she never expected to landed with a shocker from her pal!
Famous fashionista Kim Kardashian was left off the front cover for its special edition Met Gala issue.
Earlier, Kim and her husband Kanye West controversially made the cover of the US edition, but this time she failed to even get a mention on the issue and to rub it all in , her younger sister Kendall Jenner made it on the grand cover big time.
Meanwhile, Barbadian beauty Rihanna was chosen to be the cover girl decked in her exotic gold Orient-inspired gown, which took one woman two years to make.
Rihanna graced the cover with pride while the names of other guests are listed on the side – like Beyonce, Jennifer Lawrence, Kendall Jenner but NO Kim or even her hubby Kanye.
It has been claimed that those stars who chose to ignore the ‘selfie’ rule or sharing photos from inside the event, were deliberately snubbed from Vogue’s pages.
“Anna is very aware of all the celebrities who ignored her request,” an insider told VH1’s The Gossip Table, while another source claimed that they might not be invited to return to the $25,000-a-ticket event.
Kim was fully aware of the rules, and even told Extra that she had left her mobile phone at home so she didn’t break any rules.
It was only when she saw other people doing it that she got involved.
“I took a photo with Kanye, Diplo and Madonna and I was like, ‘You guys, there’s no selfies’,” the 34-year-old explained.
