The famous Kardashian family spent Father’s Day together with Caitlyn Jenner for the first time on Sunday.
And now Kim Kardashian has opened up about her stepdad, the former Olympian who was known as Bruce Jenner before her transition – revealing that ‘everyone is adjusting really, really well’.
Speaking before the MailOnline yacht party in Cannes on Wednesday night, the 34-year-old star, who is pregnant with husband Kanye’s second child, said: ‘Father’s Day was great.
‘We just hung out and had dinner and it was a great experience.
‘It was normal. It was like nothing was really different.
‘I think everyone is adjusting really, really well and that’s amazing and we’re all so supportive.’
Caitlyn threw a party at her Malibu home which was attended by most of her children and stepchildren.
She shared a picture of the celebration with her fans on Twitter along with a message of gratitude.
Kim, who appeared at the MailOnline party with mother Kris Jenner and sister Kylie, said: ‘Everyone has their own journey with it, and we all respect each other’s opinions and feelings.’
Asked whether her relationship with her father had changed, Kim revealed: ‘It’s a different one. We’re definitely closer and I understand her a bit better, and her struggle.
‘I respect all of her decisions, and I think it’s great that she can be so honest and brave and be who she wants to be.’
