Fresh off wowing a full house at Staples Center on Friday night, Nicki Minaj was back at the Los Angeles Convention Center Saturday afternoon to watch some of hip hops big stars play basketball.
The 32-year-old singer became the center of attention as she arrived courtside for the BET Experience celebrity game that included Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg and The Game.
Minaj giggled as she was escorted by some seriously burly bodyguards to greet the players.
The three-day BET Experience hosts a number of concerts, panel discussions and fan activities ahead of Sunday night’s BET Awards.
On Friday she bought her Pinkprint Tour to the event and performed an 18-song set.
But she looked as fresh as a daisy just a few hours later as she arrived at the basketball game smiling broadly at excited fans.
Minaj looked stunning in a cropped black top, black skintight leggings with a drawstring waist and a cropped leather jacket.
Her sparkly manicure matched the silver detail on her black and silver purse and she left her long curls loose. She was flawlessly made up lighting up her look with some bright cerise lipstick.
Next month, she’ll be heading overseas to perform live at some of Europe’s biggest festivals, including Wireless in London and Openair in Germany before returning to continue touring in North America.
On Sunday night, Minaj and Brown will be among the performers taking the stage to provide entertainment during the 15th annual BET Awards.
The show will be hosted by Black-ish stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson.
Janet Jackson will be presented with the Ultimate Icon Award while Motown legend Smokey Robinson will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
But Saturday it was all about shooting hoops for the rappers, musicians and other celebrities – and showing off their copious tattoos.
And Nicki also got to spend time with her new beau Meek Mill, 27.
The producer and rapper also showed off his athletic prowess during the game and he and Nicki happily posed together for photos.
