FOX is stepping outside of the box, with their upcoming remake of the BBC drama The Crusaders. Last cycle, the network picked up the series on a pilot order but was put on hold due to on-going casting searches. British actor, Idris Elba has officially been tapped to executive produce the series by FOX, which is in follow-up to his agreement in starring another series on the network, Luther.
The drama is set to revolve around an extended family of second generation Africans, who specialize in locating valuable objects stolen from their homeland and returning them to the country.
