Chris Brown’s daughter will have his last name

Kenny Awotorebo

Earlier this summer, Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman, filed for full custody of the child in Houston courts. (The move came less than a month after Brown filed papers to establish paternity.) A subsequent court decision gave each parent shared custody, and according to TMZ, the final details of that agreement have been hammered out.

The singer will have his daughter 12 days every month; none of his time has to be supervised. Brown will pay Guzman $2,500 each month, plus all medical bills, health insurance, child care, school costs and $15,000 in back support. And, as stated, her name will be Royalty Brown, no middle name, no gimmicks.
