Yesterday, Iggy Azalea was reported to have admitted to having a psychotic breakdown. In her radio interview with the “Cruz Show” on Power 106 FM in L.A., Iggy revealed for the first time that she contemplated suicide following all the social media feud, especially criticism from people in the industry who told her that her career was done.
“I don’t know. There were times when I just wanted to quit life. The whole thing, really,” the Australian rapper told the radio host J Cruz. “Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get through my horses and thought what would happen if I kept driving off the canyon. Sometimes I would feel like that.
“I live in this country on a work visa, so if I don’t have a job that means I go home. And my whole life is here, so that’s a lot for some to deal with. I’ve spent a decade living in America.”
But she found strength and confidence again in her fiance, the basketballer Nick Young, who stood by her.
