Popular Cancer patient Debbie Idiagbonya Osarere who made headlines following her battle with breast cancer which started December 2011 is dead.
Following awareness of her struggle on August, 23, 2012 via a tweet, Nigeria media, blogs and other social networks went into action to help her raise the sum of N6m needed for her surgery.
Relief came but it was not permanent yet as the late Debbie was diagnosed with cancer of the skull – the deadly disease metastasized to her other organs.
Sadly, yesterday April 1st, 2016 Debbie lost her battle with cancer after years of battling breast cancer, liver cancer and just last year, bone cancer – since 2012.
May her soul rest in peace.
