Empire star, Terrence Howard addresses domestic violence allegations

Terrence Howard, American actor and star of FOX series ‘Empire’, went on a twitter rant to address domestic violence allegations made against him by his ex-wife , Michelle Ghent, who in 2015 filed an assault, emotional distress and defamation lawsuit against him.

“I have never abused anyone in my entire life”, he wrote.

Howard who has been married three times had once faced domestic violence allegation from his first wife. Michelle Ghent who is the second wife had accused Terrence of attacking her during a trip to Costa Rica with the kids  in 2013.

According to the lawsuit, Howard “followed [Ghent] into the restroom of the rental house and punched her on the left side of her face. [Howard] also grabbed [her] by her neck and pushed her against the bathroom wall and strangled her for several seconds.”

Howard took to his Twitter to address these allegations stressing that he has never abused anyone in his life, and the stories are unsubstantiated half truths.
