Nigerian OAP, Toke Makinwa, has been dragged by Nigerians on social media, Twitter, after her tweets disclosed how sad she was that pop star, Janet Jackson is going through a divorce but also how happy she was that Janet is getting paid.
The bestselling author and media personality who went through a bitter separation from her ex-husband, Maje Ayida, was called out by Nigerians for thinking that getting divorced, is all about getting paid.
Toke’s separation from her ex-husband, led to the publishing of her bestselling book “On Becoming”. She has however been dragged to court by her ex-husband for the book, which has gotten Toke more profit than she imagined.
