Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, has reportedly released another batch of the Chibok high school girls who were abducted in mid-April 2014.

According SaharaReporters’ source involved in the airlift of the freed girls from Banki town in Borno state to an unknown destination, the number of girls released is 62.

The release of the 62 abducted school girls came after further negotiations between the Islamist group and the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

The source added that once the girls are secured in a new location they would be debriefed, undergo a psycological and medical test and then be reunited with their families.

This brings to 103 girls so far released by the group.

Official confirmation from the Federal Government is being awaited.

This is great news!
