The fourth wife of Emir Sanusi Lamido has moved into the palace after completing her studies in the UK.
Sa’adatu Mustapha, the fourth wife of the Emir of Kano, Muhammed Sanusi Lamido, has moved into the palace four years after the wedding.
The traditional Budar Kai wedding ceremony took place on Sunday after she was presented to the Emir on Saturday.
The 22-year-old graduate is one of the daughters of Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Mustapha.
Sa’adatu, after her marriage was consummated in 2015, travelled to the United Kingdom to further her studies before her arrival at the palace a few days ago.
Recall, while the Emir was away in Saudi Arabia to lead the Nigerian delegation to the holy land, Sa’adatu’s hand was given out in marriage to the Kano State Governor, Abdulahi Ganduje, who represented Emir Sanusi in receiving his fourth wife
The former CBN Governor’s other three wives include, Sadya, daughter of the late Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, Maryam and Rakiya.
