Former Osun State Deputy Governor, Laoye Tomori, has remarried at age 70.
Otunba Titilayo Laoye Tomori, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun State, has tied the knot with her new hearthrob, Prince Tunde Ponnle, the Chairman, Mic Com Cables and Mic Com Golf Centre and Resorts, Osun State.
The two were spotted at General Alani Akinrinnade’s 80th birthday party in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Thursday.
Those who saw them confirmed that they came together to the venue and left together after the party.
Checks revealed that Prince Ponnle only decided to consider marriage again with the female politician after six years of staying single since he lost his wife, Comfort Olufunke, to a brief illness in 2012.
Laoye Tomori, a graduate of the University of Lagos of class 1973, was chosen as the running mate of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and served as deputy governor of the state for two terms following a court of Appeal ruling on Friday, November 26, 2010. The ruling reinstated Aregbesola as governor of the state.
