Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Fayemi, Others To Attend 2019 Women's Conference

Eminent Nigerian women across the country are set to attend the 2019 Women's Conference scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 26, 2019, in Lagos.

The 11th edition of the Arise Women's Conference which is aimed at empowering and educating women is put together by Pastor (Mrs) Siju IIuyomade, the wife of Pastor Idowu Iluyomade of City of David parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Leading the women to this year's programme, tagged 'Bloom', is the wife of Lagos State Governor, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, First Lady of Ekiti State, Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi; her Edo State counterpart, Besty Obaseki; and Ogun State First Lady, Bamdele Abiodun.

A few former First Ladies, including Kwara, Ogun, and Ekiti States are also on the guest list billed to attend the event on Saturday.

Dame Pallen Tallen, the Minister of Women Affairs, and Salamotu Gbajabiamila, wife of the Speaker of House of Representatives, are expected to join other distinguished businesswomen and boardroom gurus, including Ibukun Awosika, Chairman of First Bank, and Dr. Stella Okoli of Emzor Pharmaceutical Limited.

This year's conference promises to be exceptionally different from the previous edition, as many programs have been added to make it worthwhile.
