Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, were among the notable Nigerians who honoured Chef Rasaq Okoya at his 80th birthday party which held on Saturday in Lagos.
Others included Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Aliko Dangote, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, businessman, Aliko Dangote, as well as traditional rulers.
The guests had a memorable time with good music from Chief Ebenezer Obey, Haruna Ishola, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and Davido.
The main point of the event was the cutting of birthday cake by the celebrant, who was flanked by Osinbajo, Obasanjo, Tinubu, among others.
The vice president, who presided over the cutting of the cake, prayed to God to grant Okoya 100 years, preserve him and keep him in good health.
