The late billionaire industrialist, Chief Molade Okoya, on Wednesday, was celebrated with a 5th-year memorial thanksgiving.
The late socialite and philanthropist par excellence was given a historic remembrance by children, grandchildren, close associates and friends of the family.
The memorial proceedings commenced with a thanksgiving, which held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, with Rev. Fr Marcellinus Teko setting the pace with a soulful opening prayer after which BJ Sax took the congregation through a glorious praise and worship session.
Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Pastor Kemi Onalaja, Rev. Samson Adedokun and Rev. Austin Onamia, were also among the ministers present at the event.
One of the prominent children, Chief Mrs Molade Okoya-Thomas, appreciated the invited guests and eulogized her father for his exemplary life.
Deji Okoya-Thomas gave the vote of thanks before guests were treated to a grand reception at the same venue.
