Congo 0-2 Nigeria: Uche and Samuel keep AFCON hopes alive

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated Congo 2-0 in Pointe Noire to secure a much needed win that has put them level on the table in second spot.

Goals from Ikechukwu Uche and Aaron Samuel gave Stephen Keshi’s team the victory, but much credit to Vincent Enyeama who saved a penalty that when the game was still at 1-0.

The Super Eagles will play South Africa on Wednesday in the final match of the qualifiers.
