Football Gossip: Man Utd to make £25m Raheem Sterling bid, Pogba to Barca

Manchester United are poised to make a £25m offer for Liverpool’s 20-year-old forward Raheem Sterling. (Mirror) 

Chelsea want to sign striker Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco. The Colombian, 29, only scored four goals in 29 appearances during a loan spell at Manchester United last season. (Daily Star) 

uventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo, 36, is poised to join Major League Soccer side New York City FC, the same team that former England international Frank Lampard will play for. Pirlo had been linked with a move to Liverpool or Chelsea.(AS, in Spanish) 

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, 22, will join Barcelona in the summer. Manchester City were prepared to pay £70m to sign the player, who is expected to be in the Juventus side that plays Barcelona in Saturday’s Champions League final. (Daily Star)
