Chelsea midfielder, Mikel Obi who moved to Stamford Bridge in 2006 but has featured increasing less in the team may be on his way to Turkey in January.
President of the Turkish giants, Besiktas, Fikret Oman stated they could make a move to sign Mikel in the January transfer window.
A transfer to the Turkish club fell through during the summer but with Mikel having made only one start this campaign, it could be back on the cards in the next window.
Oman said if the manager, Senol Gunes had given the go ahead they could go ahead to sign Mikel and we could enter the race again over the winter break.
Mikel featured for the Eagles in their international friendly games against DR Congo and Cameroon and has made 342 appearances for the Blues.
