Legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao defeated American Adrien Broner by a unanimous points win at the MGM Grand to win his 24th World title with Mayweather watching ringside.

The Philippine senator who was having his first fight since turning 40 outclassed his 29-year-old opponent.

The fight which was Pac-man's 70th professional fight saw him show flashes of his younger days as he retained the WBA world welterweight title.

Pacquiao's dominance was confirmed by the judges as he got a 117-111, 116-112, 116-112 from them.

Putting suggestions of retirement to rest, the pino said: “The Manny Pacquiao journey will still continue.

"At the age of 40, I can still give my best. Although I wanted to be aggressive more, my camp told me don’t be careless and to counter him and wait for opportunities.”

Mayweather who was co-promoting the fight sat ringside as he watched his old foe rip Broner apart with the crowd cheering all of Manny's punches.

“You keep asking me about Manny Pacquiao,” The 42-year-old Mayweather said during the fight. “He needs to get past Adrien Broner first. And right now I’m living a happy and healthy life.”

And after the bout, Showtime announcer Jim Gray tried to get Mayweather on stage and discuss a possible rematch with Pacquiao, but Mayweather wouldn't be dragged.
