Dortmund Sign Paco Alcacer Permanently From Barca
Borussia Dortmund have signed Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer permanently, the Catalan club confirmed in a statement.
German league leaders have agreed to pay 23 million euros ($26 million) for the Spanish striker whose performance has been impressive since joining on loan in August 2018.
The statement by the club confirming the agreement read:
"Borussia Dortmund has taken advantage of the permanent transfer option in the agreement with FC Barcelona reached last August for the player Paco Alcácer. The German club will pay 23 million euros and 5 million more in variables. Barça will take 5% of any future sale of the player by Borussia Dortmund to a third party.”
Alcacer, 25, joined Barcelona from Valencia for 30 million euros in 2016 but failed to nail down a regular place under Valverde before moving to Germany last summer.
