Rashford And Solskjaer Win Premier League January Awards
Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, and interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, have been named Premier League Player and Manager of the Month respectively.
Rashford, who scored three times in four games for the Red Devils, won the award ahead of teammate, Victor Lindelof, as well as Tom Heaton, Joshua King, Alexandre Lacazette and James Ward-Prowse.
In the same vein, his manager won the Manager of the Month award ahead of Sean Dyche of Burnley and Southampton’s Ralph Hasenhuttl.
United won three games against Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Brighton & Hove Albion before a comeback draw at home to Burnley.
"Playing consistently gives you the opportunity to be up for these awards," said Rashford.
"It's the first time I've won the award and I think only the second time I've been up for it, so it's a good one to win."
Fulham's Andre Schurrle's strike against Burnley was voted goal of the month
