Tributes have been pouring in for the Cardiff City record signing, who was confirmed dead by Dorset Police on Wednesday after his body was retrieved from the wreckage of the plane that was initially declared missing 18 days ago.

Once the player observed irregularities with the Piper Malibu aircraft that was conveying him from Nantes to Cardiff, the first thing he did was to send a voice note to a group that had a couple of friends and family informing them of the tragic incident.
It showed how dear they were to his heart for him to have remembered them even in the face of impending danger.
HE LOVED TATTOOS
Sala loved his tattoos! At least that is what his Instagram handle says.
Whether it was the process of adding a new one to his right arm or capturing them in cute photos, Sala loved to flaunt the dark ink on his arm and it did look nice on him.

During the period when Sala's plane was declared missing, his sister Romina shared this photo of his pet with the caption, "Nala is waiting for you too" and a love emoji.

The ex-Bordeaux man was a huge fan of beaches and pools. They were one of the most featured places on his Instagram gallery.
It's quite unfortunate that over water was where he took his last breath.
