Aaron Ramsey Signs Pre-contract Deal With Juventus

Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus and would join them in the summer both the club and player have announced.

The Arsenal midfielder whose contract with the Gunners expires in the summer has agreed on a four-year deal with the Italian champions after failing to reach an agreement with the London club over renewals.

Ramsey was reported to have passed his medicals last month as the Serie A giants looked to wrap the deal.

In a statement released by the player, he thanked the club and fans for their loyalty and support all through his time at the club while also promising to give 100% before moving on to his next adventure.

"As you may have already heard, I have agreed a pre-contract with Juventus Football Club," said Ramsey.

"I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans who have been extremely loyal and supportive. You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there for me through all the highs and lows I've encountered during my time at the club."

"I will continue to give the team 100% and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin.

The 28-year-old joined Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008 as an 18-year-old and has gone on to represent the club over 350 times scoring 61 goals.
