Paul Pogba has fuelled speculations that he could leave Manchester United after revealing that playing for Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid would be a 'dream'.

The French star has been linked with moves away from Old Trafford, having failed to replicate his Juventus form consistently for the Red Devils.

A strained relationship with former boss, Jose Mourinho, which saw the Portuguese tactician drop the midfielder from his starting line-up, and stripped him of his vice-captaincy heightened rumours the player could depart the club.

Mourinho was eventually sacked in December and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer instated on interim basis, a change that seemed to have affected the 26-year-old positively.

The Manchester side have upturned their fortunes in the league while also producing one of the comebacks of the season in their 3-1 win against PSG to book a quarter-final tie against Barcelona.

But the Frenchman, who is with the national team, has suggested he could be tempted with a move to the Spanish capital.

"Like I've always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It's one of the biggest clubs in the world," Pogba said.

"There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it's a dream for anybody who likes football.

"For now, I'm at Manchester. We don't know what the future holds. I'm at Manchester and I'm happy."

Zidane, who was reinstated as coach of the Galaticos recently, is rumoured to have handed the European champions a list of target for next summer.

Pogba's declaration could see him added to that list.
